One day, the Kancil which cleverly taking a walk in the woods. Feeling thirsty, the hare was looking for a river so he could drink. When drinking, hare across the river to see that there are many trees cucumber, fruit very digemarinya. But unfortunately, the river flow is too heavy. Kancil knew that he could not walk or swim across the river.

Kancil was thinking hard. He was looking for a way to cross the river where the current is swift. Suddenly, there was a group of crocodiles swam. Kancil also get a brilliant idea. "Hi crocodile crocodile!" hare cried aloud. "I have food for you!" Further hare. The crocodile was stopped and one of them approached the river bank to the hare. "Hmm, you're right, you was our food!" he said. "Wait wait," said the hare. "This I got the food very much, even still too much for you all," he continued. "Try calling your friends the other, and I'll show you the food," said the hare.

Crocodile was then called his friends to another, and all of them gathered at the river. Due to the large number of crocodiles were assembled, a wide river and the water was rushing it until almost full. "Okay, now I have to count the number of guys first so everything gets!" said the hare. He then jumped out of the back of a crocodile crocodile's back to the other, while counting. "One, two, three, four, five, six," and so on, until he came across the river.

As she ran away, the hare shouted, "thanks crocodiles, you've helped me cross the river!" Some alligators angry because it has been lied to, and try to catch up. But they failed because the hare is very agile and fast.
